The Living Planet Centre
This is the entrance to the Living Planet Centre, the UK HQ of what used to be called The World Wildlife Fund but which is now simply branded as WWF-UK. The building is a Woking landmark and in strict contrast with the ugly tall office and apartment buildings sprouting up around Woking station. It was opened in November 2013 by Sir David Attenborough and is as much an education centre as an administrative centre. It is built by the canal to sustainable, green standards although, somewhat incongruously, there's a municipal car park beneath it.
