Beans

Cranberry beans with arugula, fennel, and white miso; and biscuits. Wine: Denis Dubourdieu Liason Bordeaux Blanc 2018.

This bean recipe really sounds like its all over the place (arugula, fennel, miso...?) but it worked reasonably well. This is the second thing I’ve tried from a recent book called Cool Beans. So far, both things were fine, but nothing has blown my socks off yet. I do rather like what the miso did to the bean broth.
