Aboriginal painting for an Art Trail

The Village is going to have a combined Garden Party plus Art Trail next year, and I’ve said that they can hang this painting. I bought it in Western Australia last year, at Yuendumu, on the Tanami Rd, at an Aboriginal Art Gallery. I wouldn’t be able to now, as all the Aboriginal communities are closed, to protect their people from CV19.

It’s called Napaljarri-warnu Jukurrpa (Seven Sisters Dreaming), a Star cluster known in New Zealand as Matariki, and well known as the Pleiades. The painter is Athena Nangala Granites.
