The Pals

A trench was pick axed along the side of the wall at the top of the garden for the laurel to go in (not by me!).

Trip to Gloagburn later than usual and the car park was absolutely heaving and I thought the shop would be busy but no everyone must have been in the Cafe. As well as the eating area indoors they have four outdoor huts, opened at each end with a ceiling heater, sits 4/5.

Ben arrived after school, we had a couple of games of Carcassonne. He has decided that he could sleep here on the new sofa in February instead of our usual going away on holiday! Tea, then up to Mum with her shopping. One of her pals Sandra had a birthday, so the 5 of them had a celebration with cake in the library.
