4 Weeks Off

I started early with a training session with the boys and then home to work. I finished with an online meeting and when I turned off my work laptop, I started my 4 weeks holiday from work. 

4 weeks if Covid allows it. If one of my homes suddenly have a case of Covid 19, then I will have to work.... but otherwise I have 4 weeks to welcome Xmas into the family, A lot better than when Tango arrived. He came to work with me the next day!

We celebrated the holiday with a lovely walk. Tango the Naughty Pup chased a lot of ducks and had the best time. He also did most of the walk in the lake!

So all in all a good day.

The Word Of The Year has just been chosen here in Denmark. Every year the Danish Language Council choses a word, which had a special meaning that year. 

This year the word is "Samfundssind", which means to have the society in mind, when you do something. To not just think of yourself - but to put the good of the greater society abovey your own personal interests. You can read about it here!  

Samfundssind was chosen as word of the year, because it is what we have been asked to do all year due to the corona. Not just think of us selves, but to think of the entire society to help everyone safely through the pandemic.
