A good ending to a day beginning with a sleepless night and lots of coughing.
I talked to a nurse at the health clinic, so tired I couldn't keep my tears from running. Felt a bit embarrassed, but what could I do. At least she heard it was difficult. I got a video appointment with a doctor I don't know and we decided I'd keep my blood pressure medicin, get a recipe for cough medicin and if the cough didn't go away after a week or so, I would contact my doctor for an appointment and maybe an x-ray of my lungs.
When I went to the pharmacy to pick up my recipe I say the moon shining behind the trees, then I saw Mars, the red dot in the sky. A clear sky! Almost, at least. When I got out to the highway I saw Saturn and Jupiter close together, right above the tree line. I couldn't believe my luck! Obviously I didn't have my DSLR, and there was no time to go and get it, so I just enjoyed the sight and took a really bad shot, just as a memory with my iPhone. I also took a shot through my SkyView app, for clarification. If there's a chance for some clear sky I'll try again tomorrow.
So, I got my strong (out like a light) cough medicin, and saw the conjunction, and Mars, the Big Dipper, and stars all over the sky. I haven't seen the start sky for so long now, so that was a real treat! And, of course, the beautiful moon. I'm so looking forward to a good nights sleep.
