A bit of a flood!

This morning I went into Oswestry for a few last minute Christmas presents but couldn’t find what I wanted. I parked my car on the road outside F’s house as he lives in the centre of town.

While I was out it started to rain torrentially. F was out longer than me and returned like a drowned rat. I wish that I’d blipped him!

After we’d had a drink I went out to the car and the road had flooded. It was a good job that I was wearing sturdy shoes!

The road near home had flooded too. I had to drive through it in the middle of the road to get through. There was no other traffic so I was quite safe!
