What’s that noise?

Last night, just after the end of a film we were watching there was a loud bang from outside.

On investigation we found our neighbour had driven quite dramatically into the wall between our properties. She’s ok, just cross with herself and a bit embarrassed. Both the car and the wall will cost her a fair bit to sort out.

Today was L’s last day of school for this term. She’s done a whole term of big school already, how did that happen? She loves it so much and can’t quite figure out why she’s not going in for the next fortnight.

Thankfully L did not pick the dressing off her chin again today... mainly because I stuck a big old plaster over it. Also her teacher said that she would get a prize if she kept it on all day. L was excited to have got a special sticker at the end of the day.
