Lighting Up

Another week done. I (Chris) went to pick up a click and collect shopping order and stopped very briefly on the way back to grab a photo, This is the first home on the way into our village. It's a bungalow in a row of others who rarely put up any lights. Every year however, lights go up on this one. It's by no means the most dramatically lit home locally but there is something quite comforting about seeing it as we drive toward home. 

Annie had her online company Christmas social this evening. Annie set a short quiz as part of it including a question about the number of gifts in the 12 days of Christmas song. The standard answer is 364 but this question counted partridges and pear trees separately, as well as drums and drummers, maids, cows and milk pails etc. There was much debate and argument. Always good for festivities! What do you think, is a piper still a piper if they don't have a pipe with them?
