Christmas cards

Too late for an outdoor photo, and it has been a dismal day.
This is a beautiful flower painting done by one of our very talented friends. Last year it was snowdrops and this year poinsettias.
Last Christmas I bought one of her paintings for MrC. A stunning barn owl. ( see Blip 11/2/20)

Talking about birds, we had another visit from the sparrow hawk.
We were having a doorstep chat with a friend who was delivering Christmas cards, when I spotted it up high on our neighbour’s roof.
Managed a photo, although not very good, which I will put on as an extra. ( when I have deleted one)

This afternoon Mr C had some laser treatment on his left eye. After his cataract op. last year he developed a misting in this eye. Nothing serious, and he was warned it sometimes happens.
Appointment was 15.40 and he was out at 4pm. Wonderful treatment again. With thanks to Spa Medica and the NHS.

We have enjoyed another takeaway tonight from our local Italian Deli.
Now feeling rather full.
Have a feeling we will both nod off soon!
