Total Party Kill

Started playing DnD during the first lockdown and we have been doing it more or less once a week since then. Been through 2 campaigns and Martilyn "3 fingers" Soulaxe has become an awesome rogue capable of sneak kills and poison draughting. However tonight the whole party met their match after an intense battle between 5 gigantic snakes, 3 huge trolls, a Hydra and finally being picked off by this weird snake/ lizard thing. It all came down to me sneaking around trying to kill him and unbelievably I got it down to 1 health but it then turned and killed me and I ended up dead like the rest of my party. RiP Martilyn. Time to roll up a new character and see where it takes us.
