Made It!

The end of the working week and the start of my festive break! I know many are still working, so I am fortunate to have this breather so soon.

It felt very different thanking and wishing colleagues well over video. Our final meeting today had over 120 people in it. Not quite the same as our usual Christmas celebrations but it felt good to come together remotely at least.

As naturally you reflect on work life, it hit me again, what an unusual and unexpected year this has been, and how well we have weathered the storm.

Despite the difficulties, some of the changes which have occurred at work have been positive, giving me a better work/life balance, links with training and networks which are now online and fresh perspectives on how I might better collaborate with my colleagues.

It has been a dull all day - a kind of half light where the world feels it didn’t quite wake up. Here are Andy and Merlin looking a bit damp despite their wet weather gear. Time to hunker down and get dry and warm!
