Old stomping ground

Rae and I hit the Mall at lunchtime, after a rather lazy morning of pottering.

I bought a new down jacket for my trip to the UK and the upcoming winter. It was almost a third of the original price, so I was pretty stoked. It's a dark bluey greeny colour; makes a change from the usual black.

We headed off to North New Brighton for a wee beach stroll. I haven't been there for a long time and heaps of memories (good and bad) came flooding back. They've chopped all the trees down, so it was a bit disorienting. We found our way though.

Cousteau enjoyed tormenting any dog he came across. This Boxer seems to be seeking help from divine sources here, as he looks up in panic. Cousteau, of course, didn't notice his discomfort. My ever-empathetic pooch!

Found out my beautiful niece was trampolining in a Sainsbury's advert too! I wonder if she got to meet Beckham? Probably not. So proud of her!

House to myself tonight, so am planning another 'decluttering' session. Declutter the house and declutter the brain. Well, that's how it's supposed to work, anyway ...
