Elf Duties

Every year the Community Council puts on a festive lunch for the older people living locally. Not this year obviously. Many months ago we decided to put together some goody bags of food and deliver them. In all there were about 30 bags of which I have three to deliver.

The generosity of people has been astounding. From the home baking/making of cakes and shortbread, tablet and biscuits and jam to these lovely brown bags donated by a shopkeeper who had to close yet again in the recent lockdown we have been overwhelmed. One person has made little decorations to add some cheer. There is so much left over and it is going to the business which is making festive lunches for people who are homeless.

I'm about to have a busy day so a blip in haste with not much photographic merit but a record of my day.
