The Morning After

The big storm of yesterday has been and gone and today has turned out to be a perfect day with lots of blue sky, gentle breezes and plenty of sun which we haven't seen for days. What a contrast!
I went for a walk around the beach earlyish this morning to see the damage and this was one of the first photos I took. The seas are still big and this shot is the ocean rock pool being inundated by waves. It was very invigorating to be out and about again.
There is a huge amount of sea foam on the beaches and rocks, as well as more debris, and it is interesting to watch the foam floating up in the air like huge bubbles. I have put some extra photos in the Blipfolio links below.
