This is us on the fateful day 50 years ago .
Alas no chance of a celebration today, the meal I had booked ages ago for this evening is cancelled. No chance to see family or friends but we’ll make the best of it. As you can see in the extra, we won’t go thirsty ! My walking/dancing friends gave me this fabulous home made hamper too.
G is quite looking forward to creating a special meal, venison, spiced red cabbage and dauphinois potatoes feature on the main course.
There’s the Strictly final to look forward to as well.
