Another cold , wet and windy day here , with a few welcome breaks of blue sky, sunshine and rainbows. There has been a warning of flooding at the Whitesands at high tide.

Cassie has worked out that there is a pill concealed in the cheese I am giving her at breakfast time. So the cheese is eaten and pill left :(. ... I will have to speak to the vet about an alternative.

I went for a swim at 1pm and swam 32 lengths. I feel I’m getting fitter. Later we went for a walk in the Crichton grounds. There was a family ‘Drive -In Christmas’ show going on in the main car park. So rather than a quiet walk there was music and singing. It was fun, we had a wee dance and sing.

When we got home there were government press conferences about new Covid -19 restrictions. What a mess .. :(
