new car

I am posting this a day late. Lesley and I picked up her new car from the Ford dealership, a pretty looking Puma. The handover experience is not what it used to be for obvious reasons and Lesley was a little sad to be saying goodbye to her 9 year old TT, but there is no hiding the excitement of driving away in a new car.
Yesterdays excitement has however been subdued by todays news of Christmas changing for so many. Fortunately our plans for Christmas Day with our 2 boys is still allowed but they cannot now stay for Boxing Day. For others it is much harder, we have friends with children and grandchildren in the SE who have now had their plans smashed and will not be able to get together. This pandemic is so tough for many but we must make the sacrifices to beat it as it is threatening to get worse before it gets better.
