Me and the Tree

We’ve had the tree up with just lights in it for maybe a week,  but mum has been super busy and even though she’s had the ambition every morning to put up the ornaments and baubles and tinsel, it just hasn’t happened. 

Until today! We have so many fabulous ornaments, some of them gifts and some very old from before I was born. And we have no less than four traditional Swedish straw goats. The big one is mums, the two mid-sized from Grandma and Grandpa’s home. The smallest one, that is incapable of standing without support, used to belong to mum’s Grandmother and Grandfather and is probably around one hundred years old. How about that! 

We love our little tree and the goats and everything! Now all that we need is - presents!!!
