Bidford

After lunch we took a drive to the nearby village of Bidford-on-Avon.  It was quite a nice day weather-wise and we donned our walking boots for a walk over the fields from the bridge.  The river and riverside looked very nice in the sunshine.

When we came back to the village we had a wander along High Street and paid the church yard a visit. There I spotted my first snowdrops of the season, see extras.  

We were back home to see Boris cancel Christmas,  I'm sure that's not what he'd be like to be remembered for!  Personally it doesn't change any of our festive holiday plans as Ann and I were planning on having Christmas Day on our own, we're seeing the family the day before...outside.
