An Ordinary Day ...
Pretty dull, actually. Took this shot on a walk at Harestanes, which was more like a wade though mud.
We went into the Gallery - the only customers they'd had this afternoon. The owner was depressed and angry .... who can blame him.
Then we had a coffee in a gazebo - another business struggling on in the face of adversity. Free entertainment was provided by a red setter puppy who managed to upend his owner's blueberry waffle on the table before she'd had a chance to pick up her fork. The owner provided a free replacement.
Home to the news about the new rules. So sad for all those, like our in-laws in Devon, who were looking forward so much to their once-every-two-years family Christmas, and for the Kingston Crew who were hoping to be with them.
Dunc and Caroline and her brother and sister-in-law know it's the right thing, but it's hard on her parents, and on all the grand-children. Let's hope next year will be better.
Now, back to Strictly, in an attempt to lighten the moment ....
