Knitting
On Sunday there was a massive pile of balls of wool suddenly appeared at church with a notice saying "free to a good home". So we brought loads of it home and Tracy and Sophie are now knitting squares as fast as they can - the aim is to make a blanket which can be given to the Tumaini Fund - and given to a family in need in Tanzania.
The Tumaini Fund is our church Lent appeal, and earlier this week Jonathan wrote to Specsavers asking if we baked some cakes, could they be sold in the head office. Much to his please Dame Mary Perkins wrote back and said agreed - so he now needs to plan with mum and Specsavers how many cakes to bake and when...
Otherwise a busy day with all the normal things like work, school and ballet.
