Nightly stretch in front of the tv

A nice relaxed day - enjoyed my lie in till 8.30 and then a laze on the sofa with the puppy for most of the morning. The weather was pretty mixed so it was the best option. Took Phin for a nice walk round the stream before heading to the supermarket. Not too busy which is just the way I like it!

Home to do a bit of crochet and stick on a load of washing before watching the news updates. Whilst I’m not jumping for joy at the thought of Scotland going back into another lockdown, it feels right to try and prevent this latest strain of the virus running riot and overwhelming the health service. Young Mr PHL and his girlfriend had been planning to visit at Christmas but it now makes more sense for us to head to theirs as Ali is on call until late afternoon so they wouldn’t have got to ours until early evening. At least being on call means she is around for part of the day.

Managed to catch the Strictly results before watching the latest quiz show on BBC one. Off fir an early night as my turn to get up with the dog in the morning.
