'More Of The Same'

Dylan's ban of anything screen oriented continued today, he is really struggling to come to terms with not being allowed to play his computer games and is letting everyone know how unhappy he is about it.

This morning I asked him what he would like to do with me, and he said kick the footy out the back, so we did, for about 45 mins in 3o degree heat until we all got too hot and thirsty. Then Mrs R set the kids up on the kitchen table to make their own bread. This kept them busy for a good hour or so. Her is Bella kneading her bread after it's first proofing. I've just pulled it out of the oven just now and the house is smelling of nice fresh hot bread smells.

We had to convince both kids to go and and play around in the sandpit this arvo, it was such a nice day. We even gave them the hose to play around with out there as it was really hot again.

The boy was really pushing boundaries again this afternoon and more very stern words had to be said. Let's hope that something starts to sink in at some point in time.
