Bright

On a dark day when the Christmas plans of so many have been blown apart with barely any notice my poinsettia brings a bit of brightness.
I feel for my family and friends who were looking forward to meeting up in the five day window. Christmas Day has always been a day for just me and the husband and we’ve gone to visit family and friends on Boxing Day but this isn’t going to happen this year.
Lovely to see my sister’s partner today, presents exchanged outdoors before his long trip back to Scotland.
