Ominous

Nipped out and bought the Christmas tree this morning; not much of a selection but I really didn’t feel like trawling around lots of places and ending up where I’d started so just took the only short tree they had - 5 foot though so not a midget. It’s sitting in a bucket of the water now, hopefully sooking up enough to stop immediate needle drop.
Anyway, was out on the golf course all afternoon and well layered up as usual, the forecast predicting mild weather being hugely over-optimistic. Luckily the wind kept any rain away until just before we finished but it was looking pretty ominous at times.
Kilted sausages and sprouts for our tea - now that’s what I call Festive cheer!
