No Beach

I drove across to my favourite place for a walk along the beach this afternoon, but, the tide was so high there was no beach left to walk on. I watched the waves for a while before heading off to the small local garden centre to buy myself a real live Christmas tree. It's very cute at about 12 inches tall ;-)  and now that I've added some sparkly lights and placed it in a new festive pot it looks great on my table.

My girls at home asked me in the morning if I had a Christmas tree? which is why I went out to buy one, so when they video called me tonight I proudly presented my tree, they were highly amused.
