Door Wreath

Don't you all feel that no matter how we try to add some normalcy, life at the moment is weirder than any scriptwriter has ever described ? The latest on the virus mutation is kind of scary again.

Anyway, today I was writing cards, hanging the door wreath and trying to think of what groceries I absolutely need to buy this coming week. Masked youngsters appeared at the door to wish us Merry Christmas to receive their end of year paper round bonus. Cards from all the neighbours arrive. We had a 4 way family Messenger video chat with the family in Italy and the two families in The Netherlands, fingers crossed that my mother now understand how she can videochat with any of us anytime ! We made an appointment for another family video meeting on Friday next !
