Humber Trees

It's been a lovely day. With one thing and another I left it too late before going out and no sooner than I went out the door it started to rain. I went up Little Haldon and the pines and ducked through the woodland to get a view. That was when the heavens opened. I took a couple of photos and retreated to the van.

As I drove home the sun came out again and as I passed this view the light looked beautiful. I stopped the van where the road was wide enough and took a picture through the window.  I decided that wasn't good enough and got out and walked back up the road to a gate place and hopped over the gate for this shot. Maybe my timing wasn't so bad after all!
