Navigation

We took advantage of a dry day to meet up with our daughter and had a wander round the West End again. The park was busy, and the light was very flat so there weren't a lot of good photo opportunities. 

This is one of the eight sculptures on the bridge by the art gallery. I've ofter wondered what they are so did a quick internet search when I got back; and this one is apparently called Navigation.  Interesting that they are not as old as I expected; the design was awarded in 1914,  installed in 1926, damaged in 1941 and repaired in 1951.
