Pre curfew Christmas tree

Despite some decorations being vandalised, the village now looks very pretty. The council has finished, with the schoolchildren's help, decorating the tree in the square. This morning we had our seven carols and seven lessons service. Someone brought along some stollen which was much appreciated. It is not quite the same singing in masks but it was a good service and we were able to present David and Lesley with their leaving presents.  They are not actually moving away yet as they cannot sell their house. David has agreed to continue taking one service per month. I spoke with son and daughter about their changed Christmas arrangements. Tonight it is my turn to design and host the weekly bellringers' quiz. The theme is Sport.
