Flooded Ross

Day 271of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK Vaccine 13 days ago. Wales now in full lockdown, England in tier system.

We had an enjoyable evening at our local pub with family from Wales who travelled as the emergency Welsh lockdown was announced, and got home before middnight when it took effect!  Our Christmas! Luckier than most to get a meet in!  The extras show my brother/partner, and my dad/sister with the flappy sole of his shoe that finally broke after 35 years of use as we left the pub and sent us all into fits of laughter!

Mrs BB went into work at 7.30am until middday at a local Leisure centre helping out with COVID vaccine given to her surgery for distribution to  local vulnerable persons. She was tested and a negative result returned in 15 minutes! She's back in tomorrow morning doing the same.

After she came home, we drove into Ross on Wye as the River Wye had flooded its banks. Two local Environmental Agency staff we spoke to stated it woud rise another 12 inches by 5pm!  The blipfoto shows a pano of the burst river bank in Ross having almost.
