The Prayer

We visited my mum today. She was so tired and did not have much energy even to speak. She only drank half a cup of cappuccino, and did not want to eat anything. We all said our farewells to her as she was certain that by Wednesday, when we will drive there the next time, she will not be there any more. All we can do is pray.

I practically held her hand for the two+ hours we were there, and the other hand was held by the other members of the family. The extra shows our granddaughter (4 years) to hold the hand of her 90 years older grand-grandmother.
