I'm being told off

by Madam over there!  She whisked out the front door when I was emptying the bin and was sniffing around in the grass.  I went in and came out with the camera - she wasn't impressed :)

First Churches Together in Woodley service I've attended - it was rather strange not to be in a church, but watching from home and rather disjointed I felt.   

This evening our own Carol Service was much better :)

Other than online church services, I've been doing some hoovering - or trying to!  Can anyone recommend a way to get 'fluffy bedsocks fluff' out of the carpet - neither of my cleaners can do it.   I think one of the cleaners is on the way out anyway, but its such a nuisance!

I caught up with one of my neighbours who I haven't seen for a couple of weeks.  She's a schoolteacher and has had to isolate due to one of her children testing positive for COVID, but it was over the fortnight so she could go out today.  If I'd known, I would have gone shopping for her!

Talking of which, I'm getting up at half past 5 to get to the supermarket for 6am before work tomorrow....unless the times have changed....will be a relief to get Christmas food shopping done and hopefully it will be quiet that time of day!!
