Herdwick

The sheep have been brought down off the hills and one of the local farmers has them in his field for the winter.
We used to have them every winter in the field next door, so it is nice to see them back again, even if they are the other side of the road. I had to go up on the attic to get this shot over the tree tops in the garden.  
There was a lovely sky for a short time this afternoon.
