Surreal

I'm filling in this entry as a Backblip, in December. Its very odd really. Its from back in the days when covid 19 was in awareness but only just... 

This was Katie's first event at Guildhall, London. The Big Double Reed Day. Her first time having glorious fun with lots of bassoonists. And she won a prize for her masterclass!

The days following the course, we heard there'd been a case of covid confirmed in the college and the whole place closed. We worried for days about if we'd hear the children had been near the situation.

Since doing BDRD in February, she's done a masterclass again, online, with Bob the conductor. All very surreal.
