We are the Mods (even now)

Had some lovely video chats this morning around feeding J's hangover (she'd had a boozy Zoom quiz night with her friends). Then later I nipped out for a quick walk round the block, not expecting it to be at all eventful.

Passing a block of garages up the road, I spied a friend who restores vintage British motorcycles (he has six currently) and while we were chatting, his garage-neighbour appeared. He brought out his super special scooter to show me its beautiful artwork. The newspaper 'clippings' are readable and are of real stories from the days when Jersey was home to quite a few young Mods (all a bit older now!).

As we were admiring it (and reminiscing), a motorbike pulled in carrying two fully clad Santas! Clearly there's a lot going on in the garage block on a Sunday afternoon! They'd been on a charity ride-out of course and told us all about it.

It was dark by the time I got to the top of the road!
