O come, let us adore Him.

Today we had our Christmas carol service. My favourite part was before each song, a member of our Church family would share why this song is meaningful to them.
One particular lady who I could have listened to for hours, spoke about “O Come All Ye Faithful”. She’s recently turned 90, lives on her own, and suffers chronic pain. Yet I can’t imagine someone more in love with Jesus. Here is what she said:

“My favourite chorus would have to be “O Come All Ye Faithful”. And the reason for this is the chorus. I think this chorus should be sung more often, not only at Christmas! I think even after every worship it should be sung! Because it is
“O come, let us adore Him,
O come and let us adore Him.
O come, let us adore Him - Christ the Lord.” What could be better words than that?
Can you picture the scene…us worshipping the Lord.
I love Jesus - does He know?
Have I ever told him so?
Jesus loves to hear me say,
That I love him every day.
O come, let us adore Him.
Merry Christmas to all my church family, keep on keeping on!”
