The lumberjack song

The plan was to fell 20 large trees in order to get firewood mainly for the sauna, but also the fireplace at the cottage. All went fine with the first 42 trees (including also some smaller ones), this is somewhere around #15. But then it went worse. The 43th started to fall in the opposite direction planned, and almost hit the shed ("missed it by that much" as Maxwell Smart would have put it). The 44th got stuck when it was cut, even after our man with the chainsaw had cut another 1.5 m from its lower part. Another 1.5 m, and then it got loose but fell down our way. I managed to jump to the side and our chainsaw man ran and jumped to the direction where the tree was falling, and managed to avoid the heavy parts of the tree by perhaps 20 cm. Lucky escapes made us end the lumberjack business there and then.
