Christmas is coming

I did my final pre Christmas shop today, and hubby and I are now lying low.. The new Covid variant that has emerged here is scary, the younger people are being affected and we know folk whose kids are positive.
So Christmas will be at home with little contact with friends.. more baking tomorrow, wrapping the few presents, looking forward to zoom with our kids overseas as much as possible. 
It gladdens my heart to see their excitement in Canada and New York, experiencing snow and the wonders of the amazing Christmas lights and decorations, so different from our South African Christmas.
