It's not just children

who want to sit on Santa's knee...
What a miserable day weather wise.  Low grey cloud everywhere along with some rain. No chance of seeing the alignment of Saturn and Jupiter here!
However, I have had a lovely day as I was taken out to lunch by Eloise and her mum.  We had a lovely, very socially distanced meal overlooking the sea at Westward Ho! and caught up with all that family's news. Eloise is on holiday for the next few weeks but says that she will be doing online schooling for the first week at least after the break. She does find this very stressful but managed to cope well during the last session, so I am sure she will again.
Later on I played taxi driver for a friend whose had an "hystericalectomy" and can not yet drive herself. We managed to do a lot of her Xmas shopping, both gift and food so she is almost ready now.  She is so looking forward to being able to get behind the wheel for herself!
