Season's Greetings

It has been a grey day weatherwise and in most other respects as well.  We are in virtual lockdown, in Tier 4.  The coronavirus is spreading faster than ever.  Europe and many other countries have closed their doors to us. There is still no sign of a trade agreement post Brexit.  Christmas is cancelled.

However, on a positive note, today is the shortest day.  Sunrise where I live was at 8.05am and sunset was at 3.52pm.  I take great encouragement from the fact that I can now look forward to steadily increasing hours of daylight each day - admittedly very slowly at first, but still moving in the right direction. To every cloud there is a silver lining.
