The solstice scrub up

Time to celebrate... the shortest day and the shortest (and cleanest) fur!!! 
She is looking so much better and smells delightful (this evening) !
Much creative activity throughout the house and hopefully the last day of work today.  Having forgone last weeks holiday I am hoping him indoors will now be able to have some much needed time off.  Just the one week all year ... we are hoping he will be able to carry over the holiday till next year.. somehow I doubt it. 
Everything is rather wet.. the fields flooded and rivers about to burst their banks.. the darkest day is over.. now we can look forward with hope and enjoy each second of extra daylight we gain.  Wonderful!
