Super Wide
I (Chris) have the loan of the fabulous Canon 11-24mm lens for a couple of weeks as part of the Canon lens "test drive" scheme. Normally you get 48hrs with a lens but this has been extended for the Christmas period. Although I only had a quick lunch break, I had a wander up to the sports field at the end of the road to give the lens a try. I've photographed these "huts" before quite recently but since them someone has re-labelled the "away" hut, Covid-19. Very topical!
Watch out for some more wide shots the next few days!
Edit January 2021: The new tier 4 rules kicked into effect.
"If you live in Tier 4 you must not leave or be outside of your home or garden except where you have a ‘reasonable excuse’."
This included:
- Work;
- "You can leave home to buy things at shops or obtain services from a business which is permitted to open in your Tier 4 area, but you should stay local."
- Education was all planned to be open (where it wasn't already Christmas holidays);
- You could only meet indoors with your household or support bubble, unless e.g. helping others who were vulnerable;
- "People can also exercise outdoors or visit some public outdoor places, such as parks, the countryside accessible to the public, public gardens or outdoor sports facilities. You can continue to do unlimited exercise alone, or in a public outdoor place with your household, support bubble, or with one other person if you maintain social distancing."
- Medical reasons, etc.
