The final push
It’s been a long 5 weeks (and a day) but today we packed the last toys to complete all the applications made. When I arrived this morning the warehouse was full of boxes of toys to be sorted into age groups by gender as people obviously bought over the weekend. The volunteers were kept busy sorting until after lunch as we had another double this amount in a storage unit. (See extras for photo of unit and the fox I snapped outside my friends house this evening). Tomorrow task is boxing up the gifts not used - they will be put to good use next year.
Popped in to see my friend Susan after I’d finished and her wee pup is fully recovered - eating, drinking and driving her to distraction!
Miss PHL has been a bit under the weather today with stabby pains under her ribs that worsened as the day went on and managed to get an emergency appointment at the out of hours surgery. Just waiting to hear what they suggest.
Hope this blip of angel made by fellow blipper redflash many years ago fits the bill for this weeks MonoMonday theme of festive reds. Thanks to carolinav for hosting.
