Saw my poorly friend today in North Devon, was an emotional day, unsurprisingly he feels cheated to be bowing out so young. It was good to see him, hopefully not, but quite possibly, for the last time.

After, his wife and I, along with our other bestie, all climbed up a big hill in the pouring rain. It was needed for all of us.

Hoping to see them again before I return but am waiting to see how things unfold a bit more before working out how/when to go back.
