Christmas decoration

An early morning sprint class lifted my spirits and I also visited the local farm shop for some vegetables and eggs.  The road was almost flooded, the surrounding fields are saturated and the river was running very high and fast as I crossed over the bridge.

Back home its been an afternoon of peeling chestnuts and putting marzipan on the cake, I will follow this with nuts and fruit as I'm not keen on icing.  The Christmas tree lights went on the tree and the first decorations, so I could get a blip for todays MonoMonday.
