LD 273. Working through the shortest day

I was meant to leave for Edinburgh mid afternoon but a series of meetings about all the current problems kept me at my desk until well after 5.00 so the journey was undertaken in the dark in the longest night of the year.

But when I passed through there was an impressive amount of work still going on to put in place the new (and very large) bund to protect the Old Military Road at the A83 Rest & Be Thankful from the effect of any future land slips.
