Christmas star

Like most everyone, I had to go outside and look at the alignment of Jupiter and Saturn.  I've always been interested in astronomical events.  Wish I had a better camera but I was surprised that when I enlarge the picture I can see both planets. We looked through binoculars and had a pretty good view.  Reminded me of when we took a tour up Mauna Kea in Hawaii and saw Saturn through a telescope.  Also reminded me of when Halley's comet passed by in the 80s. We took the kids in their pajamas and went out to a nearby lake to see it from a darker spot. Fun times.
