Little hover fly

This tiny fly was so pretty with its iridescent wings. It was hanging out on the tenacious little jacaranda tree in our back yard.

I caught up with SG today. Nice to have a natter and a cuppa with her. We're catching up for a day out in January.

It's been a grotty afternoon weather wise, but the garden is happily lapping up the rain.
